Philosophy
GEMS 7th grade math program is designed to introduce, develop, and maintain student comfort and competence with essential mathematical skills and concepts which they will use in the classroom and beyond. There is also a strong focus on using problem solving to demonstrate fluency and understanding of those concepts and skills.

Portfolio checklist- When in doubt, check to make sure the things on this list have been done prior to handing your portfolio write-up in to Mr. Hardy. Also, check the 2nd page out for tips on creating an appropriate math representation.
