Philosophy
GEMS 7th grade math program is designed to introduce, develop, and maintain student comfort and competence with essential mathematical skills and concepts which they will use in the classroom and beyond. There is also a strong focus on using problem solving to demonstrate fluency and understanding of those concepts and skills.
Instructional Methods
Instructional methods shall vary from topic to topic and will include:
